HIRING NOW: Casual/Substitute Early Childhood Educators.

We are seeking a caring and reliable Early Childhood Educator to provide flexible casual coverage for staff absences and varying program needs, with opportunities to work across different classrooms and age groups. The employee will support children’s learning and development, and contribute to a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.

Position Type: Casual

Location: Big Lakes Little Explorers, High Prairie, AB

Compensation: Hourly wage in accordance with organizational wage policy (based on education/experience), along with Alberta government wage top-ups.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search 

• Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully in a team environment.

• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.

• Physical ability to lift, carry, and interact with young children throughout the day.

Preferred Assets:

• Experience in a licensed child care or early learning setting.

• Knowledge of Alberta Early Learning and Child Care Curriculum Framework (Flight).
